Wu Xing Qi Gong is the ultimate mind- body exercise combining mind intention, breath, and movement. It is both energizing and nourishing. Through regular practice you will develop a calm spirit and a strong and flexible body.
This series will introduce the participant to one of the most practiced and respected sets of Chinese Qigong : The 8 pieces of silken brocade.
In this series the participants will learn this classical form in full. As the Chinese say : “ Don’t tell me what is the latest thing tell me what’s the oldest thing”, because it gives results.
In addition to learning the form we will review the basis of qigong answering commonly asked questions such as : what is Chi and how does it work? How will regular qigong practice improve my health?
In this series we are also including ancient qigong exercises that are designed to dramatically increase any ones energy reservoirs.
Dates & Times : Monday February 11th to March 11th, 2019. 7-8pm.
Location: 374 Dupont Street 2nd Floor (1 minute walk to Dupont subway and we have free parking)
Cost : $100 for active Wu Xing members $150 for non-members.
If you have to miss one or 2 sessions because of scheduling reasons it’s still worth taking the series.
